Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, acknowledged that he is “extremely concerned” about William Saliba’s injuries.

Saliba did not participate in the Gunners’ match day squad on Saturday as they drew 2-2 with Aston Villa.

More tests are now scheduled for the Frenchman.

When asked about Saliba’s health following the match, Arteta responded, “No, not yet.”

“I think tomorrow we will have more information, we will have another test on him and we will be more clear about that.”

He added: “Yeah, for sure, especially with the numbers that we have in the squad and looking at our bench – very worried.”

In the center of Arsenal’s defense versus Villa, Jurrien Timber and Gabriel Magalhaes formed a partnership.

Arteta’s team suffered a blow in their attempt to capture the Premier League title when the two gave up two goals in nine minutes in the second half.
