Kevin de Bruyne, the departing playmaker of Manchester City, has not ruled out the chance of staying in England and potentially joining a different Premier League team.
The Belgian midfielder will be leaving Manchester City at the conclusion of the current season.
With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, De Bruyne is anticipated to sign with a new club as a free agent.
In an interview with Sky, De Bruyne shared that he has been in talks with various clubs about his future, and remaining in England is still an option due to his family considerations.
“I’m speaking to clubs about my future, yes,” De Bruyne said.
“I want to play good football, whatever the decision. Staying in England? It depends who comes… I have a family, kids.
“I have to take care of a decision that suits everybody. The decision is complex,” he stated.
De Bruyne made the move to Manchester City from Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga in 2015.
At 33 years old, he has achieved six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and a Champions League victory in 2023 with Pep Guardiola’s team.
