Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has emphasized the need for the team to finish the season strongly, following their 3-1 defeat at home to Everton.
Raul Jimenez found the net early for Marco Silva’s men, opening the scoring in the 20th minute.
However, Everton drew level just before halftime and went on to score twice in the second half, claiming all three points.
The loss has weakened Fulham’s hopes of securing a spot in European competition for the next season.
Despite the setback, Iwobi stressed the importance of focusing on winning their final two fixtures.
“Of course it was disappointing,” he was quoted by the club’s official website.
“We felt we controlled the first-half and then when they scored the equaliser, it probably boosted them for the second-half
“The season’s not done – let’s see what we can do.”
