EPL: Haaland picks one Arsenal player that will improve Man City

Erling Haaland, a striker for Manchester City, has acknowledged that Martin Odegaard, his “rival” at Arsenal, would help them if he switched teams in the summer.

Odegaard joined the Gunners from Real Madrid and has made 141 appearances.

He has contributed 23 assists and 33 goals over that period.

In July 2022, Mikel Arteta gave the 25-year-old midfielder the captain’s armband.

Haaland responded, “Yes, I think so,” to the question of whether City would be a “better team” with his Norway international teammate Odegaard in the lineup.

“There’s a good player and a player that plays for our rivals.

“He’s just signed a new contract, so it’s not a topic, but at City, we have a lot of the best players in the world.”
