EPL: Haaland set to sign long-term contract with Man City

Erling Haaland, a striker for Manchester City, has signed a nine-and-a-half-year contract, committing to the Premier League team for the long run.

Haaland and City are bound by the new agreement through the summer of 2034.

In the summer of 2022, Haaland transferred from Borussia Dortmund to the Etihad.

His initial contract was scheduled to expire at the conclusion of the 2026–2027 campaign.

Haaland, however, has now consented to an incredible new deal that will last until his 34th birthday.

Since his arrival in England, Haaland has scored an incredible 111 goals in 126 games.

The Norwegian has also won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, the Champions League, and a Super Cup.

The 24-year-old has been frequently linked with a move to Real Madrid ever since his time at Dortmund.
