Peter Crouch, who played as a striker for Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, has claimed he would pay to see two players from Chelsea in action.
After Chelsea’s recent Premier League victory over Aston Villa, with a score of 4–1, Crouch spoke.
On Wednesday night, Chelsea defeated Aston Villa decisively, with Joao Pedro scoring a hat-trick and Cole Palmer adding another goal.
As a result of the match, Chelsea has narrowed the gap to top-four contenders Aston Villa and Manchester United to just three points, with nine games left in the Premier League season.
“I would pay money to watch them, Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer,” Crouch said on TNT Sports before asking Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior about the potential of Pedro.
“It’s scary, scary,” Rosenior said of Pedro.
“His mentality as well, he is a warrior. He is a fantastic footballer, but he is strong and physical as well.”
