Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders has emphasized that securing the Premier League title is the club’s top target for the current campaign.

Reijnders made an impressive start to his City career, scoring once and assisting twice in their dominant 4-0 victory over Wolves on Saturday.

His standout display earned him the Man of the Match award.

Speaking in a post-match interview with Sky Sports, Reijnders stated: “Last season, Man City didn’t win the Premier League and that’s our main goal [this season].”

“We all know what we want and we’re all sharp to reach that goal.

“You know what big names were in this club, but it was a proud feeling to join Man City… that’s what I want to show, I’m proud to play for this club with a lot of fun and love.”
