Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Premier League powerhouse Manchester United.
The update came from Galatasaray journalist Serhan Türk during a recent appearance on A Spor, where he discussed the club’s current transfer developments.
Türk revealed that the Nigerian striker is currently awaiting updates from England about a potential move.
“Today, the names I spoke to in the Galatasaray transfer committee said ‘Osimhen will give us his decision’,” Türk said.
“I also need to finalize what I know, but it is true that Osimhen is on Manchester United’s transfer agenda. Osimhen is waiting for news from England.
“There was some news a short while ago, I can’t give it without confirming it, but if he does transfer, I think he will be on par with Osimhen,” he stated.
The 26-year-old forward, who spent the last season on loan at Galatasaray, is looking to make a permanent move away from Napoli during the current transfer window.
Osimhen has attracted interest from several clubs across Europe, with Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal also reportedly eyeing a deal.
