Europa Conference League: Chelsea’s possible play-off opponents [Full list]

Chelsea’s 2024–2025 season will get underway early as a result of their Europa Conference League qualification.

In the FA Cup final of the previous season, Manchester United defeated Manchester City 2-1, preventing the Blues from qualifying for the Europa League.

The Red Devils, who had placed eighth in the Premier League, were guaranteed a spot in the Europa League with this victory.

At the play-off round, Chelsea will join the Conference League.

To guarantee a spot in the league stage, Enzo Maresca’s team will compete in a two-leg match.

They will play the winner of the third-round qualifying tie for the Europa Conference League:

Maribor (SVN) or Vojvodina (SRB)

Ruzomberok (SVK) or Hajduk Split (CRO)

Osijek (CRO) or Zira (AZE)

CSKA 1948 (BUL) or Pafos (CYP)

Paks (HUN) or Mornar (MNE)

The loser of Europa League third-qualifying round tie:

The two play-off games are scheduled for August 22 and 29, and the draw for the Europa Conference League play-off round is scheduled for August 5 at 1pm.

August 30 is when the draw for the league phase will take place.
