FCT residents loot NEMA warehouse

Because of the ongoing economic hardship throughout the nation, several Federal Capital Territory (FCT) residents have stolen a warehouse owned by the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria (NEMA).

The warehouse, situated in the Phase 3 area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Abuja’s Karimo, was reportedly raided early on Sunday.

The residents took away food and other supplies.

The Nigeria Police Force has sent officers to the scene to secure the premises and scatter the looters.

Josephine Adeh, a spokesman for the FCT Police Command, acknowledged the event and stated that everything had been controlled.

She declared, “The situation is now under control.”
