FIFA rankings: Peseiro sets new target for Super Eagles

Jose Peseiro, the Super Eagles’ head coach, has clarified that he intends to continue with the team.

In response to the most recent FIFA rankings, he said something.

Nigeria moved up 14 spots in the standings on Thursday, taking their current global position to 28th.

The Eagles are regarded as the third-best team on the continent after their outstanding performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Nigeria today trails just Senegal and Morocco.

However, Peseiro has now shared an image on his Twitter page expressing his desire for the team to top the African rankings.

Currently, Peseiro’s contract has expired because of the AFCON competition.
