Former Kano State Secretary to the Government Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi has expressed his anger at the treachery he endured after endorsing the Kwankwasiyya group of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

“Alhamdulillah, I have completed my work safely, but unfortunately, we found ourselves with untrustworthy people.

“We contributed our fair share, but they betrayed us. I ask for your forgiveness and request that you wait for the right time, as we will soon speak up and reveal everything,” Dr. Baffa Bichi said.

He said this in front of a throng of young men and women who had assembled to greet him upon his return from the Umrah pilgrimage in the holy land.

Bichi underlined that the young will hear a number of discoveries when the time is appropriate, but that now is not the moment to speak.

“Thank you, and I also ask for your forgiveness. Now is not the time to speak, but we have written statements, audio, and video recordings. When the time comes, we will release them all,” he added.

He said that in order to stop others from falling for people who masquerade as trustworthy yet behave dishonestly, he would be clean about the betrayal he experienced. He characterised these people as people who speak of loyalty but fail to demonstrate it.
