The Founder of YTOP, Mr Oluwadamilare Ekundayo, said, “For us, this is not just about charity—it’s about restoring dignity, creating belonging, and giving every child the chance to thrive, regardless of ability.” He added that the organisation’s vision is “from a deep desire to see young people rise beyond limitations to create a global community of great minds who see beyond challenges and collaborate to create effective change.”

Ekundayo noted that the donation was also to celebrate eight years of commitment to youth development, leadership, and community development. He stated that the group has reached out to over 70,000 young people across Nigeria and beyond through its diverse programmes and initiatives.

The Headmistress of St. Phillips Special Needs Children School, Mrs Olunike Egunjobi, commended the group for the gesture, saying, “We are grateful to YTOP Global for their generous donation of 30 mattresses and 100 bedsheets. This kind gesture has brought much-needed comfort to our children, and I believe it marks the beginning of many more blessings to come.”

A class teacher at the school, Mrs Bosede Odediran, also lauded the group, saying, “I am deeply grateful to YTOP Global for stepping in where help is so desperately needed. I also use this moment to plead with kind-hearted individuals and organisations: these children’s lives can truly be transformed.”

The donation is part of YTOP’s commitment to supporting, including, and celebrating persons with disabilities (PWDs). The organisation has reached out to several special needs schools, offering relief items, scholarships, skill training, and dignity to students.
