SG Holdings Limited’s foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to deepening its social impact across Nigeria. Marking a decade of community development work, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Deji Somoye highlighted the foundation’s inclusive and sustainable initiatives in health, education, economic empowerment, and faith-based community development.

The foundation has made significant strides in healthcare, including sponsoring hernia surgeries for over 200 underserved patients, conducting large-scale medical outreaches, and donating essential equipment. “We are not waiting for perfect systems before acting. Healthcare is one of those needs that cannot wait,” Somoye emphasized.

In education, the foundation has transformed a primary school into a modern learning facility and donated an E-Library and Youth Development Centre to enhance digital literacy. “When we support a future doctor or engineer, we are making a direct investment in the health and infrastructure of our nation,” Somoye said.

The foundation has also prioritized economic empowerment through youth and widow empowerment programs, providing grants and business tools to over 50 beneficiaries. “Every youth or widow we empower is a life redirected, a dream reignited, and a future secured,” Somoye added.

Furthermore, the foundation believes in investing in the fabric of society through faith-based initiatives, such as constructing church facilities and donating equipment. Somoye concluded that the foundation remains committed to scaling its interventions and serving as a catalyst for dignity, equity, and opportunity across Nigeria.
