The Endeavor Foundation has pledged $5.22 million over the next three years to advance the second phase of a project aimed at strengthening student mental health and overall well-being.
This latest funding builds on the $3.275 million the foundation provided in the past two years to support phase one of the initiative at Endeavor Lab Colleges (ELC), a network of 10 small liberal arts institutions. The first phase included pilot projects that explored ways to integrate mental health support into the liberal arts curriculum, foster stronger connections between students and their communities, link personal purpose to career readiness, and cultivate supportive, resilient campus environments
In this new phase, ELC schools will continue joint efforts by expanding activities, focusing on long-term sustainability, documenting progress, and sharing knowledge. Special emphasis will also be placed on the unique role of liberal arts colleges in this work.
“Thanks to the dedication of our partner institutions and the confidence and commitment of Endeavor Foundation, we are taking meaningful steps to address well-being on our campuses,” said ELC project director Lori Collins-Hall. “Our goal is not simply to improve mental health but to transform the way liberal arts colleges engage students in caring, resilient, mission-aligned communities.
