The foundation offered free medical services, including medical glasses, medications, and medical check-ups such as blood pressure and blood glucose tests. Some beneficiaries were also referred to the Iguobazuwa General Hospital for further attention

The Chairman of the foundation, Goodluck Ebelo, said the foundation was established in memory of his father, late Chief Aaron Ponuwei Ebelo, to sustain his legacy and love for the people. Ebelo stated, “The Aaron Ponuwei Ebelo Foundation goes beyond medical outreach. The foundation is also involved in education and entrepreneurial support.”

One of the beneficiaries, Mrs Ebiere Kimibradigha, expressed gratitude to the foundation, especially for the free glasses provided to her. The event featured about ten medical doctors and other medical aides who attended to the health needs of the communities.

The foundation’s initiative highlights its commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of the people in the Arogbo Ijaw-Ibe Clan
