Fuel price Hike: ELFON threatens Nationwide protests, demand Kyari’s sack

The National Leadership of the Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria, ELFON held an emergency meeting concerning the recent increment in fuel pump price.

Speaking to the Press, the National President of the Emerging Leaders, Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel stated that it is obvious that a cabal in the petroleum sector is hell bent on ridiculing the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration by instilling all manners of hardship on Nigerians.

Godstime who showcased a high level of worry over why President Tinubu has refused to sack the GMD of NNPCL, Mele Kyari said it is time to Mobilize Nigeria Youths (50 per state and 1000 from Abuja) to protest Mele Kyari out of office.

“This time, of President Tinubu refuses to heed to our demands to sack Mele Kyari of our Petroleum sector to breath, we will have no choice than to force Mele Kyari out of office”, Godstime vowed.

“With the recent increment in fuel pump price, I wont be surprised to the see the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun join us to protest against this high level of disservice to Nigerians as we will occupy NNPCL headquarters in the coming days until Mele Kyari is no more addressed as MD od NNPCL”, Godstime insisted.
