Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has responded to Alhaji Buba Galadima’s recent inquiry about Ganduje’s political status.
Ganduje’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment, Chief Oliver Okpala, vehemently defended his boss in reaction to Galadima’s assertions that Ganduje has no electoral value, calling Galadima a “failed, rejected, and frustrated politician.”
Galadima’s uneven career and lack of political credibility drew criticism from Okpala. He brought up Galadima’s past association with the Buhari Organization, which failed to secure election victories.
Okpala also emphasized Ganduje’s good political record throughout his two terms as governor of Kano State, referring to his continuing initiatives and strong relationship to the people.
Along with dismissing Galadima’s importance, he questioned his performance and brought attention to the political conflicts inside the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Galadima’s current party. In contrast to the NNPP’s internal problems, Okpala underlined that Ganduje’s leadership has maintained the APC’s stability and influence.
Okpala concluded by stating that Ganduje is still committed to his work and is unfazed by Galadima’s criticisms, adding that Nigerians, especially APC members, continue to strongly support Ganduje’s established political influence.
