Gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey to celebrate 44th birthday with prison inmates

Gospel artist and minister, Nathaniel Bassey, has revealed his intention to celebrate his 44th birthday alongside inmates at the Kirikiri Medium Security Correctional Facility in Lagos.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Bassey mentioned that the event will include a special, one-time edition of the Halleluyah Challenge.

He shared that he plans to lead the prisoners in a powerful worship session as part of his birthday celebration.

He wrote, “Tomorrow for my birthday, I praise and celebrate with my brethren in prison.”

The Halleluyah Challenge, initiated by Nathaniel Bassey in 2017, is a spiritual worship initiative that has become one of Africa’s most widespread virtual prayer and praise events.

Each night, the movement gathers thousands of believers online for an hour of worship, often accompanied by testimonies of miracles, breakthroughs, and answered prayers.
