The dissolution of the State Executive Council is effective immediately, as agreed by Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, his chief press secretary, issued a statement on Wednesday that made this revelation.
However, the governor spared two cabinet members from dissolution “because of the critical nature of their duties,” the statement said.
The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac, are the commissioners that have been retained.
“All the affected cabinet members are to hand over all government properties in their care to the accounting officers of their respective ministries,” the statement added.
In addition to wishing the EXCO members luck in their future pursuits, Governor Aiyedatiwa praised them for their dedication and contributions to the growth of Ondo State during his administration.
