According to Orji Uzor Kalu, the senator for Abia North, Nigeria’s president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Abia State’s governor, Alex Otti of the Labour Party, are standing by one another.

Orji made this revelation after recently visiting Governor Otti in the capital of Abia State, Umuahia.

He downplayed the power of the alliance formed by previous PDP and Labour Party presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and others, in their attempt to depose President Tinubu in 2027.

He claims that in the run-up to the 2027 elections, the All Progressives Congress is still the dominating political force.

“We are not into any coalition. All I know is that Otti is supporting Tinubu, and Tinubu is supporting Otti; that is my deal. I am not into coalition,” he said in a video released by Channels Television.

According to a previous ZINGTIE article, Orji referred to Atiku, Peter Obi, and the former Kaduna governors and Rivers states, Nasir El-Rufai and Rotimi Amaechi, as brothers and friends.
