He’s an animal – Argentina’s De Paul reveals toughest player he ever faced

Rodrigo De Paul, an Argentine midfielder, says Neymar is the hardest player he has ever faced.

Neymar, who presently plays for Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, was called an animal by De Paul in the football game.

Due to an injury, Neymar will not be participating in the forthcoming Copa America 2024 in the USA.

The injury he suffered while on international duty late last year has kept the former forward for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain out of the season.

“Neymar in the Copa America final was the toughest opponent I faced,” De Paul said (as per Albiceleste Talk).

“He is an animal. I told him a couple of things.

“In the second half, during a play, I said to him: ‘Honestly, man, you are a phenomenon.

“It’s not just how you play, no one can throw you off your game.’ Then we hugged. Ney in that final was spectacular.”
