Veteran singer Eedris Abdulkareem has shared his wish for the younger generation of musicians and Nigerians to remember him.
In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, the singer “Jaga Jaga” appeared. Toun Cole, the co-host, asked, “How would you love this new generation of artists to remember you?”
In response, Abdulkareem merely said, “For the truth that I stand for.”
The seasoned singer responded, “I plan to collaborate with any new generation Nigerian artist that is conscious enough. Yes, Falz.” when asked if he would love to work with any up-and-coming artists.
“Falz is the only conscious artist in this new generation. Who else? If your music is not adding value, no matter how far it goes, I don’t give a damn, because the lifespan is three or four months. You will have to do another song to replace that one. But when the song is evergreen, it will always be evergreen.”
