Renowned Jamaican dancehall singer Shenseea, known for her hit song Hit and Run, has openly expressed her position on divorce.

The artist stated that she does not support divorce, encouraging couples to work through their problems and reconcile rather than part ways.

“I don’t believe in divorce. We gon’ have to learn to love each other again,” she wrote via her X handle.

Her comments sparked controversy, with some critics labeling her stance as hypocritical due to her status as a single mother.

Others argued that her message might promote staying in harmful or abusive relationships.

So far, Shenseea has not responded to the criticisms.
