Afrobeats singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, known as Ayra Starr, has shared that she doesn’t typically enjoy her songs after recording them.

She explained that whenever she listens to her tracks, she feels they could have been improved.

However, the rising star expressed a different feeling about her hit song ‘Woman Commando,’ featuring Anita and Coco Jones, noting that it sounds perfect every time she listens to it.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the ‘Rush’ hitmaker said, “I usually don’t like my songs after recording. It’s so bad. I don’t even know why. I just feel like it can get better and better, so I keep pushing and pushing until it’s perfect.”

“But ‘Woman Commando’ was that song that I was like, okay I went crazy on this one. This is dope.”

Ayra Starr previously mentioned in an interview that she enjoys listening to artists like SZA, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Rema, and others during her downtime.
