I’ll work with you – Biden tells new UK PM Keir Starmer

American President Joe Biden has stated that he is eager to collaborate with Keir Starmer, the newly appointed prime minister of the United Kingdom.

Under Starmer’s leadership, Biden declared that he was prepared to enhance US-UK ties.

The US president congratulated Starmer on becoming PM in a post on his X page.

According to Biden: “Congratulations to Prime Minister Keir Starmer on becoming Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

“I look forward to our shared work in support of freedom and democracy around the world, and to further strengthening the special relationship between our two countries.”

After winning the necessary 326 parliamentary seats, Starmer, the Labour Party’s nominee, was sworn in yesterday.

After winning, Starmer stood in front of an enthusiastic assembly in Central London and declared, “We did it; change begins now.” I have to admit, I feel good about it.

The outgoing prime minister, Rishi Sunak, responded to his defeat by claiming blame for the Conservative Party’s loss.
