Israel-Hamas war: Cardi B calls for ceasefire in Gaza

Cardi B, an American rapper, has advocated for a truce between Israel and Hamas, a violent Palestinian organisation.

Since the Israel-Hamas battle started on October 7, thousands of people have died and many more have been displaced, according to ZINGTIE.

Cardi B requested that her nation step in, stating that she would only support a presidential contender in the event that a ceasefire was achieved in Gaza.

In a recent social media conversation with followers, the rapper declared: “I want a ceasefire. I want a peaceful treaty between Palestine and Israel.

“I want innocent people to stop dying, that’s all I want. If that can happen, I’ll support anybody.”

In May, Cardi B informed Rolling Stone that she would not vote in the November election if the two front-runners, Republican Donald Trump and Democratic incumbent Joe Biden, were to remain in office.

But on Sunday, President Joe Biden resigned from his position as the Democratic Party candidate and supported Kamala Harris, his vice president, to lead the party.

On social media, Cardi B expressed her anticipation for the development and welcomed it.
