After a new video of him surfaced online, Lt. Yarima, the viral naval officer who confronted Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike, has continued to garner international attention.

The brief video, which is quickly going viral on social media, depicts the well-liked officer performing his duties on a military vessel.

Following his meeting with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, public interest in Lt. Yarima grew.

Wike went to a location in Abuja’s Gaduwa District to examine property and carry out official directives.

Lt. Yarima and other armed soldiers stopped his crew, claiming they were following “orders from above.”

Wike was incensed by this altercation and referred to the officer as a fool.

“I’m not a fool Sir and I have integrity integrity,” Yarima quietly retorted.

Yarima was praised by many Nigerians for his self-assurance and self-control during the match.
