“Jail him till I die” – Woman begs court to jail her son after he did this to her

A woman astonished a court by appealing to jail her son until she passed away. Ms Selly was sobbing as she told Senior Resident Magistrate Christine about the suffering their only son had caused the family.

According to Ms Selly, her 33-year-old son, Nelson, beat her and her husband, making the father leave the house on a few occasions. The son had not changed, she said the court, even though he was serving a more than two-year prison sentence for assaulting them.

To live in peace, she requested that the court hold off on giving him over until after he passed away. “I ask this court not to release this child, my life is in danger because of the unceasing dangers and aggressions of the denounced.”
