The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has announced the release of results for its recently concluded Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise, with candidates now able to access their scores via the institution’s online portal.
The university’s Public Relations Officer, Benedicta Ehanire, confirmed the development on Tuesday in a statement issued in Benin City.
Ehanire cautioned candidates against misinterpreting the “NOT ADMITTED” status currently displayed on their result slips.
“Candidates should disregard the ‘NOT ADMITTED’ message appearing on their slips,” she said.
She explained that the admission process has formally commenced and will continue until October 31, in line with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) schedule
“All candidates who scored 50 per cent and above in the screening are eligible for consideration, subject to the recommended admission guidelines,” Ehanire stated.
She assured applicants that more information would be made available as the process progresses.
“Further details on the admission process will be released in due course,” she added.
