Justin Timberlake arrested for ‘driving while intoxicated’

An American musician, Justin Timberlake, was taken into custody in New York.

The musician was reportedly taken into custody on Monday night in Sag Harbour, New York, in the Hamptons enclave.

A representative for the police department confirmed Timberlake’s apprehension, and an official from Sag Harbour Justice Court verified that the accusations pertain to driving while intoxicated, or DWI, according to a local news outlet, Newsday.

The pop star is anticipated to be charged in court on Tuesday, per a statement from the district attorney’s office in Suffolk County.

This occurs during “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour” by Timberlake. He has two nights booked in Chicago this weekend, then two gigs in New York City the following week.
