Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the embattled senator from Kogi Central, confirmed on Thursday that she will win an election against both the current governor, Usman Ododo, and former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello.

Citing her broad appeal, Natasha made this affirmation.

This was revealed by the suspended MP during an appearance on Politics Today on Channels Television.

In response to the question of whether she could win an election against Bello and Ododo, Natasha said: “Yes, I’m very popular, and I think one thing that works for me is that I live my life every day as a senator, educating and creating awareness in the minds of people who have lost hope in politics.

“So, I’m looking to have a new kind of following that believes the standard of leadership can actually improve, and that their participation could help shape Nigeria’s political landscape.

“If I decide to, and God spares our lives, for I do believe in the power of now, I celebrate the moment and trust in tomorrow.”

Remember how Natasha had claimed that Bello, Ododo, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio were planning her murder?

In Kogi State, she said, Akpabio had talked about killing her.

She also made sexual harassment accusations against the Senate President, which Akpabio has since refuted.
