‘Let us save you’ — 2baba’s brother raises alarm over singer’s marriage

Hyacinth Idibia, brother to Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, has raised huge alarm online after publicly begging with the musician to let his family to “save him” amid swirling claims of a marriage conflict with his new wife, Natasha Osawaru.

His statement follows shocking accusations made by 2Baba’s former manager, Kaka Igbokwe, during a live interview with media personality Daddy Freeze on Monday, December 1.

According to Igbokwe, the iconic performer is caught in a “toxic marriage” with Natasha, who currently serves as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly. He said that Natasha has been physically violent toward the singer and has interfered with his professional and business interests.

Igbokwe additionally asserted that Natasha is in charge of 2Baba’s finances and has neglected to appropriately account for money or compensate team members.

Hyacinth returned to Instagram this morning with a mysterious Instastory post, adding to the mounting rumors.

He shared an audio clip of an unreleased song 2Baba once recorded, where the lyrics describe an independent woman who was “chopping” all his money and leaving him with “zero balance.”
