Madonna breaks record for largest concert with 1.6 million attendees

The largest solo musical concert in the history of the veteran American singer Madonna has been surpassed.

With the last stop on her Celebration Tour in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the 65-year-old achieved the accomplishment.

Live Nation said that the event, which took place on the well-known Copacabana beach, drew 1.6 million attendees, making it the biggest solo performance by an artist.

It was said that there were no tickets for the show.

A combination of some of Madonna’s best-known songs, such as “Nothing Really Matters,” “Like a Prayer,” and “Vogue,” delighted the audience. At one point, Brazilian superstar Anitta joined Madonna on stage.
