According to investigators, a heartless Ohio man requested bereavement leave from his employer to grieve for his deceased fiancée before hiring two friends to murder her on the day she was set to give birth.

According to prosecutors in Hamilton County, Kayvon Warren, 30, allegedly recruited his friends to assist in the murder of 26-year-old India Kinamore in her Colerain Township home on March 4, 2023, the day she was due to give birth to the couple’s child. However, Warren telegraphed the murder by first requesting time off to grieve for her loss.

As she issued a 13-count murder charge against the three, Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich stated in a statement, “This should have been one of the happiest days of India’s life.”

“Instead, the father of the child conspired with two others to kill her. It’s heartbreaking,” Pillich said. “My office will see that justice is done for both India and her baby.”

Warren allegedly sought to coerce Kinamore into getting an abortion while he was facing financial difficulties, including losing his house, and meeting another woman.

Rather, the accused murderer reportedly recruited Lamar Morris Suggs, 22, and Robert Ervin, 20, and broke into Kinamore’s house at around 6 a.m. with the intention of disguising the murder as a botched burglary, according to the prosecution.

Officials said that after shooting and killing the young expectant mother, all three left the area.

To ultimately crack the case, which resulted in last week’s indictment, Colerain Police Department officers and county detectives combed through phone and financial records and conducted dozens of interviews.

Ervin and Suggs were also accused with weapons, and the three were charged with criminal assault, burglary, and aggravated murder.

According to online records, Ervin is in jail on $300,000 bond, while Warren is being held at the county jail without bail after the arraignments. It was unclear at first what Suggs’ bail requirements were.

Prosecutors said all three could be sentenced to life in jail if found guilty.
