UCL: Thierry Henry names two clubs to win trophy this season

Thierry Henry, a legend of Arsenal, has identified two clubs as favourites to secure the UEFA Champions League trophy this season, ahead of Barcelona.

After Barcelona’s 1-1 draw with Newcastle United in the Round of 16 first leg at St. James’ Park on Tuesday night, Henry voiced doubts regarding their chances.

In an appearance on CBS Sports, the Frenchman pointed out Bayern Munich’s better balance in attack compared to Barcelona as he named the Bundesliga giants and Arsenal as the Champions League favorites.

“Bayern Munich is way more balanced than Barcelona in terms of how they attack and shift places,” Henry said.

“Barcelona need to find that consistency and balance if they want to win the Champions League.

“But they don’t have that Balance sometimes and that makes me turn to Bayern and Arsenal as the favourites to win the Champions League.”
