Man nabbed for allegedly defiling 12-year-old boy, 2 girls in Adamawa

A man in Adamawa State, Abubakar Abdulsalam has been accused of defiling a 12-year-old kid and two others has been placed under detention in jail custody.

In addition, Abdulsalam, a resident of Yola South Local Government Area’s Yolde Pate, is charged with sexually abusing two girls, ages eight and ten, respectively.

Information obtained on Tuesday indicates that the incidents happened in Yolde Pate last month at different times.

The Chief Magistrate Court II placed Abdulsalam under detention at a penitentiary facility in Yola.

In violation of sections 263 and 211 of the Adamawa State Penal Code Law 2018, he was charged with defilement and unnatural offense.

Inspector Ibrahim Aliyu, the prosecuting police officer, brought allegations against him and detailed them in his first information report (FIR).
