Angry Indigenes of Otor-Owhe community in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State have set a man ablaze for beheading a lady for rituals.

It was learnt that the man killed the woman in the jungle and brought her head home.

The community’s indigenous members promptly burned the man on fire after learning about it.

In a statement posted on his Facebook page, SP Bright Edafe, the public relations officer for the Delta State Police, verified the occurrence.

The post read, “This is the third case of ritual killing in less than 2 months in Delta alone. We had one in Abuja and some other parts of the country. What is with this get rich quick syndrome? What is wrong with us and how do we prevent this?”
