On Friday, Manchester United revealed updated squad numbers for several of their players.
In an announcement on their website, the Red Devils confirmed that young talents Tyler Fredricson and Chido Obi will sport new shirt numbers for the upcoming 2026/26 season.
Defender Fredricson is switching from number 55 to number 33, following his strong performances last season.
The 20-year-old Academy product made his Premier League debut against Wolves in April and also started in the away match at Brentford.
Likewise, Obi, who completed his transfer from Arsenal’s Academy last November, will now wear the number 32 jersey.
Previously, the 17-year-old had been assigned number 56 after joining from the Gunners.
These updates come after announcements that Diogo Dalot will don number 2, and Matheus Cunha will take on number 10.
Additionally, Shea Lacey, Bendito Mantato, and Reece Munro have been allocated squad numbers 61, 70, and 65, respectively.
