The goalkeeper for Real Madrid, Thibaut Courtois, stated that they will certainly face Manchester City in the Champions League Round of 16 draw on Friday.
After their 2-1 victory against Benfica on Wednesday night, Courtois addressed the media.
The win guaranteed that Madrid advanced from the knockout play-offs with a 3-1 aggregate.
In the next round, they will face either City or Sporting Lisbon.
“We all know it will be Man City on Friday at the draw,” Courtois said.
“Everyone knows that.”
During the league phase, Madrid faced off against City, with Guardiola’s squad emerging victorious 2-1 at the Bernabeu.
