Messi ahead of Ronaldo in list of all-time top 50 footballers

In the top 10 of the Daily Mail’s list of the top 50 footballers of all time, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, two contemporary football legends, are ranked.

While Ronaldo is ranked tenth, Messi grabbed the top spot.

According to the journal, Messi and Ronaldo’s rankings show a big difference.

Notably, Neymar, a forward from Brazil, was left off the list.

Pele, Diego Maradona, Zinedine Zidane, Johann Cryuff, Alfredo Di Stefano, Ronaldo Nazario, Garrincha, and Zico were among the other legendary players included in the top ten rankings.

Messi has won eight Ballon d’Or awards in his career, compared to Ronaldo’s five.
