MTN Foundation’s Executive Director, Odunayo Sanya, emphasized the importance of education, stating, “Education is the backbone of national development, and at MTN Foundation, we are committed to ensuring that no bright mind is left behind due to financial constraints. This scholarship is not just about funding education; it is about investing in Nigeria’s future leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers.”

The scholarship includes an annual value of ₦300,000, increased from ₦200,000 in 2024, with support until graduation upon meeting academic requirements. Additional benefits include mentorship, internship placements, and digital certification training to enhance employability
