Naira Abuse: Obi Cubana’s reaction as man tried to spray him Bank notes during birthday party

Obi Cubana’s 50th birthday bash is still making waves online, as new footage continues to emerge showing memorable highlights from the event.

The well-known nightlife mogul and entrepreneur, Obinna Tochukwu Iyiegbu widely known as Obi Cubana marked his milestone birthday with an extravagant party on April 12 in Abuja.

In a recently surfaced clip, one of the guests was seen trying to spray naira notes, even though most others had already thrown foreign currencies like dollars and pounds.

At the time, Obi Cubana was dancing on stage with his wife and children when he noticed the naira notes being flung. He quickly stepped down and approached the individual to stop the act.

Earlier reports noted that Pascal Okechukwu, popularly referred to as Cubana Chiefpriest and a close friend of Obi Cubana, had been taken into custody by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

After the news broke, old videos began circulating online, showing several celebrities—Obi Cubana included—publicly displaying wealth by spraying money.

In one viral clip, the father of five was seen at a wedding event, tossing dollar bills into the air. This fueled talk among fans that the high-profile businessman, who once employed Cubana Chiefpriest, strictly sprays foreign currency at gatherings and avoids using naira much to the reassurance of his admirers.
