Idris Ogunleye, popularly known as Bobrisky, was not housed in the general cell according to the Nigerian Correctional Services, as a result of his unique feminine traits.

The NCoS official in command of the Kirikiri Medium Security Facility, Michael Benson, made this statement on Monday at the House of Representatives’ investigative inquiry.

Recall that the House is looking into the N15 million bribe that the EFCC allegedly demanded and the money that was delivered to NCoS personnel in exchange for Bobrisky receiving special treatment during his six-month prison sentence.

“Bobrisky have some special features like breast. If we put him in the general cell, you would have to bring out his body from the cell. We have some convicted rapist and sodomites,” Mr Benson said.

For his own protection, Bobrisky was subsequently transferred from the Medium Security Correctional Facility to the Maximum Security facility, according to Mr. Benson. Nonetheless, the officer claimed that his superior had made the decision while he was away.

According to ZINGTIE, Bobrisky did not appear before the panel but has been instructed by the House to do so at a later date that the parliamentarians have not yet disclosed.
