Nigerian forward wins Egyptian Women’s Cup with Al Ahly

Nigerian striker Charity Reuben has secured the Egyptian Women’s Cup while playing for Al Ahly.

Al Ahly emerged victorious by defeating Wagi Degla 1-0 in a hard-fought final.

The match remained goalless after regular time, leading to extra time.

In extra time, Ashrakat Adel scored the decisive goal for Wagi Degla to claim the championship.

This triumph marked the first major title for the Al Ahly women’s team.

Reuben previously won the Women’s President Federation Cup in Nigeria during her stint with Bayelsa Queens.
