Sylvia Obilor, a Nigerian woman, died soon after being accepted to Manchester, England’s University of Salford.

The graduate of Abia State University in Uturu was said to have had a seizure on Saturday, August 9, 2025, while attending a church service.

Unfortunately, despite every attempt to preserve her life, she died on August 12.

In March, the late Sylvia completed her mandatory national youth service.

In a statement released on August 13, the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Aba, Abia State, verified the tragic news.

Friends have been mourning her on Facebook in the meantime.

The late Sylvia had started preparing to move to the UK, according to Ibo General.
