Not just Amaechi, anybody can defeat Tinubu in free, fair election – Maxwell Opara

Former Transportation Minister Chibuike Amaechi has been warned by activist and lawyer Dr. Maxwell Opara that anyone may overthrow President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

In an interview on Arise television’s News Day, Opara made this claim, claiming that the current condition of affairs in Nigeria has made it extremely simple for anyone to overthrow the Tinubu administration.

In an interview over the weekend, Amaechi, a former governor of Rivers State who just defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC), claimed he could easily defeat Tinubu, his erstwhile political ally, in the 2027 presidential election.

Opara, however, insisted that any real politician will defeat Tinubu in a free and fair election, saying it is not about Amaechi.

According to him, Nigerians are furious with the current government.

He claims that the current government has angered Nigerians.

He stressed that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ticket belongs to Atiku Abubakar and encouraged Amaechi to throw out any hopes of securing it.
