Ahmed Musa, captain of the Kano Pillars, has resumed training in advance of the team’s match against the Niger Tornadoes on matchday 10 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Due to injuries, Musa was unable to play in the Sai Masu Gida’s most recent games against Barau FC and Shooting Stars.
On Friday, the seasoned forward was photographed working out with his colleagues.
The recently hired technical adviser, Muhammad Babaganaru, who is on a rescue mission at the club, is anticipated to benefit greatly from Musa’s return.
On Saturday, the Kano Pillars and Niger Tornadoes will square off at their makeshift home field in Katsina.
As you may remember, Kano Pillars defeated Niger Tornadoes 2-1 in the identical matchup the previous season.
Mohammed Aliyu scored for the Niger Tornadoes, while Rashid Alhassan and Musa scored for the Kano Pillars.
