Rangers, winners of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), have officially signed Michael Uchebo, a former Super Eagles striker.

Before spending time abroad, the 34-year-old played for the Coal City team from 2008 to 2009.

Uchebo last played for the Portuguese team Boavista in Europe.

The third player to join Flying Antelopes before the second stanza is the tall striker.

Ejike Uzoechi and Patrick Egeonu recently joined Rangers from Sporting Lagos.

With Uchebo’s comeback, more well-known Super Eagles players are returning to the NPFL following stints in Europe.

Brown Ideye is on Enyimba’s books, although Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi are currently with Kano Pillars.
