Kwara United have kicked off preparations ahead of the 2025–26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The team resumed training after a brief break, following their recent triumph in the 2025 President Federation Cup.
Their first session back took place on Monday at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl of the George Innih Stadium.
Technical Adviser Tunde Sanni oversaw the session as the squad began getting back into competitive shape.
As part of their pre-season activities, Kwara United are scheduled to face Blimz FC, a non-league side, in a friendly match on Tuesday in Ilorin.
Coach Sanni’s team is also set to compete in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup, having qualified through their cup success.
The new NPFL campaign is slated to kick off on Friday, August 22, 2025.
